Waterland is one of Europe's largest water parks, covering an impressive 150,000 square metres in Tagarades, approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Thessaloniki in northern Greece. Since opening in 1994, the park has welcomed nearly three million visitors and continues to delight guests with an extensive array of aquatic attractions, including a 20-metre-high Funnel slide with over 100 metres of travel, Kamikaze slides, a Black Hole extreme slide, a lazy river, and dedicated children's pools with interactive water features. Uniquely, an on-site zoo allows animals such as ponies, llamas, ostriches, giraffes, camels, and peacocks to roam in naturalistic habitats. A free shuttle service from Thessaloniki ensures easy access. Waterland operates from June through September, making it an unmissable summer destination in the greater Thessaloniki region.
