Waldseilpark Kahlenberg is one of Austria's largest high-ropes adventure parks, set within the Vienna Woods Biosphere Park on the Kahlenberg hill in Vienna's 19th district. The forest rope park features 17 courses across three levels of difficulty, climbing to heights of up to 20 metres, with elements including rope bridges, wobbly nets, and flying foxes. After a brief introduction, climbers of all abilities can navigate the courses in a sustainable setting where structures are attached with tree-friendly fastenings. The wider Erlebniswelt Kahlenberg complex also encompasses a 3D archery park and an e-mountain bike centre, providing additional outdoor pursuits in the forest. The Josefinenhütte on site serves traditional Austrian cuisine. Easily accessible by public transport from central Vienna, Waldseilpark Kahlenberg makes for an exhilarating half-day or full-day adventure in the greenery immediately above the city.
