Viking Village

Viking Village, known in Estonian as Viikingite küla, is an immersive cultural attraction located on the bank of the Pirita River near Kose, Estonia, approximately 15 minutes from central Tallinn. Established in 2006, the village recreates the atmosphere of the Viking Age in Estonia from the 8th to the 11th century. Visitors can try archery, axe and spear throwing, and participate in fortress-capturing battles complete with catapults and a battering ram. Craft workshops allow guests to build miniature Viking ships, mint coins, braid rope charms, and create unique handmade souvenirs. Children can dress in authentic Viking costumes and join themed treasure hunts. After the activities, guests can unwind in the cave sauna, juniper sauna, smoke sauna, or a barrel hot tub. The Viking Village also offers experiential accommodation and a tavern serving traditional food, making it a full-day cultural and adventure destination for families and groups.
