
The Splash Pad is a free, community-oriented outdoor water play facility located within Rassie Wicker Park at 10 Rassie Wicker Drive in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Opened in June 2016 as the first splash pad in Moore County, this approximately 8,000-square-foot attraction features 30 floor geysers, 10 bollards, a large tipping bucket water dump, and a rain shower curtain, all utilizing a 3,000-gallon recirculating water system. Admission is free and no reservations are required, as the splash pad operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Surrounding amenities within the 103-acre park include two tennis courts, a bocce court, a soccer field, inline hockey, a playground, paved walking trails, a picnic shelter, and a concession stand, making the Splash Pad a central feature of an exceptional community park in the Carolina Sandhills region.
