The Mill of the Elves

The Mill of the Elves (Mylos Xotikon) is Greece's largest Christmas theme park, held annually in the historic Mitsopoulos Mill in Trikala, central Greece, approximately 230 kilometres from Athens. First launched in 2011, the park transforms this stone watermill into a magical winter wonderland each December and early January, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Greece and the Balkans. Free to enter, the park features an ice rink, a fun park, a cinema, theatre performances, a chocolate factory, Santa's house, the Fairytale House of the Elves, a Playmobil palace, a flower kingdom, food stands, coffee shops, and craft workshops where children can bake, paint, and meet Santa Claus and his elves. The Mill of the Elves is a beloved annual celebration of the festive season and an iconic destination for families across the region.
