Tatralandia is Slovakia's largest aquapark and holiday resort, located 4 kilometers northwest of Liptovský Mikuláš on the banks of the Liptovská Mara reservoir, with the High Tatra mountains as a backdrop. The resort boasts 14 thermal, salt, and freshwater pools heated to up to 38°C, more than 28 water slides, and a year-round indoor Tropical Paradise zone maintained at a constant 30°C. Headline attractions include the Tornado — Europe's longest rafting water slide with a whirlpool — and the Free Fall, Slovakia's steepest water slide. A Celtic Sauna World, over ten on-site bistros and restaurants, sports areas for volleyball, football, and ping-pong, and additional leisure activities such as paintball and giant chess ensure there is something for every guest. A holiday village accommodating up to 700 guests makes Tatralandia the largest year-round water park with accommodation in Central Europe.
