Silverwood Theme Park is the largest theme park in the Pacific Northwest, located near Athol in Kootenai County, northern Idaho, approximately 47 miles from Spokane, Washington. The park features more than 70 rides, slides, shows, and attractions spread across five themed areas, including four roller coasters highlighted by the Tremors coaster, which reaches 65 miles per hour and dips underground four times, and the Corkscrew with its 140-foot drop. Boulder Beach Water Park, included with park admission, offers raft slides on Avalanche Mountain, two large wave pools, water slides of all sizes, and Toddler Springs splash area. Live entertainment, multiple on-site restaurants, and seasonal events round out the experience, including the popular Scarywood Halloween transformation in October. An adjacent RV park and campground make Silverwood a full multi-day destination in the Idaho panhandle.
