
Sandcastle Water Park is a classic outdoor waterpark situated on 67 acres along the scenic banks of the Monongahela River in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Opened in 1989, the park features more than 20 uniquely themed water attractions, including the Mon-Tsunami Wave Pool, a scenic Mushroom Pool, a relaxing Lazy River, and thrilling slides such as the Blue Tubaluba, a 450-foot slide with waterfalls and stretches of total darkness, and The Monster, an 85-foot free-fall speed slide reaching speeds of up to 25 miles per hour.
