Promontory Water play area

Promontory Water Play Area is a beloved outdoor splash pad located within Promontory Community Park at 2700 Alexandra Drive in El Dorado Hills, California. Operated by the El Dorado Hills Community Services District, this seasonal water feature runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, daily from 10 AM to 8 PM, and is a popular destination for families during the warm Sacramento-area summers. Kids delight in the misting butterflies, spray tunnel, dump buckets, and water geysers, all using a recirculating, ultraviolet-disinfected water system for safety. The surrounding community park adds even more appeal, with two children's play structures, a group picnic area with BBQ facilities, lighted bocce courts, tennis courts, a lighted artificial turf sports field, softball fields, and open lawn areas, making it a well-rounded outdoor destination for the entire family.
