Portsmouth Splash Park

Portsmouth Splash Park is a free, publicly operated outdoor water play area located at 900 Elm Avenue within Columbia Park in Portsmouth, Virginia. The facility features 12 varieties of colorful sprinklers, fountains, and water jets that spray upward onto a dedicated rain deck, offering a safe and refreshing play environment for children of all ages during the warmer months. The splash park is open daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and provides ample shaded seating areas and benches so families can relax comfortably while children play. Life jackets and safety equipment are available on site to support a secure experience. As a free community amenity managed by Portsmouth Parks and Recreation, Portsmouth Splash Park is a cherished neighborhood gathering spot that brings families together for cool summertime fun in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia.
