Playland's Castaway Cove

Playland's Castaway Cove is Ocean City's original boardwalk amusement park, entertaining families along the New Jersey Shore for over 50 years from its location between 10th and 11th Streets. The park offers more than 32 rides including three roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, a Tilt-A-Whirl, bumper cars, log flume, antique cars, and a classic carousel, catering to thrill-seekers and younger visitors alike with Python, Ocean City's only looping coaster. An indoor arcade, two mini-golf courses with a shipwreck replica, and a nearby go-kart speedway round out the entertainment options. The park is free to enter, with individual ride tickets purchased as needed and no expiration date on unused tickets. Operating daily from late March through early October, Playland's Castaway Cove is a beloved summer tradition for families visiting Long Beach Island and the Jersey Shore.
