Parquinho da Redenção is a beloved children's amusement park nestled within Porto Alegre's historic Farroupilha Park, popularly known as Parque da Redenção, one of the city's most cherished green spaces. Originally inaugurated in the 1950s under the name Minilândia, the park was revitalized in 1999 with 18 modern and safe rides including Ferris wheels, bumper cars, toy trains, and elevators. One of its historic rides — the Austin, featuring miniature replicas of English cars — is recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site of Porto Alegre. Admission to the park area is free, with individual ride fees keeping the experience accessible for all families. A kiosk on site offers classic park treats including popcorn, ice cream, and pastries, adding to the nostalgic and family-friendly charm that has delighted generations of visitors.
