Parc Merveilleux

Parc Merveilleux is a beloved fairy tale and animal park spanning 25 hectares just east of Bettembourg in southern Luxembourg, open annually from Easter through early October. The park is home to nearly 200 animal species from five continents, housed in naturalistic enclosures throughout the parkland. Animated fairy tale stations bring classic stories to life, with Snow White, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Luxembourg's own legendary characters featured among the sculpted scenes. Additional attractions include a pony ranch, a miniature railway, children's self-drive cars, adventure playgrounds, and numerous interactive exhibits for young visitors. The park's landmark giant sculpture provides a memorable climbing and photo opportunity for children. A restaurant and cafeteria offer dining within the park grounds. Originally conceived during post-World War II reconstruction by a Dutch landscape architect, Parc Merveilleux has grown into one of Luxembourg's most cherished family destinations, drawing visitors from across the Grand Duchy and neighboring countries.
