Natural Swimming Pool Michal u Sokolova is a beloved outdoor water recreation complex situated near Sokolov in the Karlovy Vary Region of western Czech Republic, created on a reclaimed site of former brown-coal mining. The centerpiece is Michal Lake, a sprawling 30-hectare natural reservoir renowned for the exceptional cleanliness of its water, often called the Sea of Sokolov thanks to its more than 500-meter sandy beach. Visitors enjoy an exciting giant water slide, a large water trampoline, and pedal boat rentals on the lake. Sports facilities include three beach volleyball courts, a beach soccer field, a tennis court with artificial surface, mini-golf, skittles, and two table-tennis tables, making it a comprehensive outdoor destination for the whole family. Refreshments are available on site, and the complex provides an inviting natural escape in the Ore Mountains region.
