Museo Sa Bassa Blanca

Museo Sa Bassa Blanca, known as MSBB, is a unique art museum and natural reserve situated in a privileged setting near Alcudia, Mallorca, just eight minutes from the town and about 50 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport. Founded by artists Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu, the museum was established in 1994 on a historic 17th-century Mallorcan estate redesigned by the renowned Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy. The estate is fully integrated into a protected biological reserve, offering visitors a serene environment where art and nature are deeply intertwined. The museum houses four distinct exhibition spaces, including the celebrated "Nins" collection of children's portraits from the 16th to 19th centuries and the SOKRATES space, a Wunderkammer featuring works spanning different cultures and historical periods. With free on-site parking and a commitment to merging artistic heritage with natural beauty, MSBB offers a one-of-a-kind cultural experience on the island of Mallorca.
