Mundo Gelado do Capitão

Mundo Gelado do Capitão is a one-of-a-kind themed ice park and ice bar located at Estrada do Caracol in Canela, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Pioneering as Latin America's first ice park, the venue features a 140-square-meter ice cavern spanning 40 meters, built from approximately 30 tons of ice and chilled to as low as -23°C. Inside, guests discover elaborate ice sculptures including sofas, tables, sleds, and beloved animated characters such as the Mammoth from Ice Age. Visitors receive thermal jackets and gloves for their comfort. At night, the space transforms into Latin America's coldest ice bar, serving a selection of chilled cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. An adjacent Captain Jack museum showcases replicas of legendary ships, World War II aircraft, and maritime artifacts, rounding out a multifaceted attraction perfect for families and adventurous travelers in the Serra Gaúcha.
