Morgan County Fair

The Morgan County Fair is a beloved annual agricultural and community celebration held at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in South Jacksonville, Illinois, with roots stretching back over 175 years. Held each summer for six days, the fair draws more than 25,000 visitors from across the region for a rich lineup of events including livestock shows featuring sheep, rabbits, swine, and goats, competitive demolition derbies and truck and tractor pulls at the grandstand, live concerts, a Queen Pageant, and a lively carnival with rides and games for all ages. Hands-on competitions span livestock, equestrian arts, fine arts, and textiles, while a petting zoo and free children's activities make the fair accessible to the youngest attendees.
