Mildura Water Play Park

Mildura Water Play Park is a free public outdoor water play facility located on Hugh King Drive, overlooking the banks of the Murray River in Mildura, Victoria. The centrepiece is a 40-metre artificial stream laid out in a river delta design, featuring fountains, programmed water geysers, splash pads, manual water pumps, and a variety of naturalistic surfaces including river cobbles and colourful wetpour rubber. The design draws inspiration from Aboriginal fish traps traditionally used on the Murray River, and the surrounding botanical garden showcases indigenous plants with cultural significance. Shaded pergolas, BBQ facilities, and native trees create a comfortable and restful setting for families. The park operates daily from October through April, with extended hours during daylight saving, and is free to enter.
