Matsue Vogel Park

Matsue Vogel Park is an all-weather flower and bird theme park spread across 32 hectares of rolling hillside near Matsue in Shimane Prefecture, offering stunning views of Mount Daisen and Mount Sanbe. The park's centerpiece is Japan's largest flower display greenhouse, an 8,000-square-meter climate-controlled space housing over 10,000 blooming plants including begonias and fuchsias maintained at a constant comfortable temperature year-round. Visitors can enjoy interactive bird encounters with approximately 90 species, including penguin walks, owl flying demonstrations, and eagle shows conducted across multiple aviaries. Two on-site restaurants and a gift shop round out the amenities, while fully wheelchair-accessible covered corridors make the park welcoming for all visitors. Accessible via the Ichibata Railway's dedicated station, the park is conveniently located near Izumo Taisha Shrine and Matsue Castle.
