Märchenwald Bad Breisig is a charming fairy tale theme park in Bad Breisig, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, with roots dating back to the 1930s and recognized today as cultural heritage of the region. The park brings to life 12 classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales plus a scene from Wilhelm Busch's Max and Moritz through solidly built houses filled with moving and speaking figures voiced by comedian Konrad Beikircher. A fairy tale educational trail for adults offers deeper insight into the stories' meanings, while a small playground entertains younger visitors. At the top of the park, guests are rewarded with a sweeping view of the Rhine, Schloss Arenfels, and the Siebengebirge hills. A large terrace with approximately 80 seats and a bistro-kiosk serve snacks, sweets, ice cream, and beverages, and dogs are warmly welcomed.
