Märchengarten im Blühenden Barock is a beloved fairy tale garden set within the magnificent Baroque palace gardens of Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. First opened in 1959, the garden invites visitors to stroll along enchanted paths past more than 40 lovingly designed scenes bringing classic fairy tales to life, including Rapunzel's tower, Hansel and Gretel's gingerbread house, Sleeping Beauty's castle, and the Frog Prince at his fountain. A highlight is the charming boat tour along the Märchenbach, the Fairy Tale Stream, which winds past mysterious trees and through tunnels. Most pathways are smooth and suitable for wheelchairs and strollers, making the garden accessible to all. A visit of three to five hours is recommended to fully enjoy all the magical scenes and surrounding palace gardens.
