Luna Park

Luna Park in Maebashi-shi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, holds a special place as one of the country's most nostalgic and affordable amusement parks, having first opened in 1954. Admission is completely free, with rides priced as low as 10 to 50 yen, making it a beloved destination for local families and curious travelers alike. The compact 8,815 square-meter grounds are packed with more than 10 attractions including a merry-go-round, mini-helicopter, go-kart track, and a roller coaster. The antique electric wooden horse near the entrance, also dating from 1954, is considered the oldest surviving play equipment of its kind in Japan.
