Le Jardin Ferroviaire

Le Jardin Ferroviaire is a charming miniature garden and attraction park located in Chatte, Isère, between Grenoble and Valence near the Vercors massif in southeastern France. Founded in 1987 by miniature enthusiast Christian Abric and still family operated, the venue features intricately crafted miniature décors depicting regional landmarks and train sets set within Japanese-inspired landscaping with maple trees and Niwaki-style pruned trees. Visitors follow a musical journey lasting 30 to 45 minutes through the garden, with an observation game encouraging discovery of hidden details along the way. Shaded pathways, misters for warm days, and rain-protected walkways ensure a comfortable visit. The park welcomes families, school groups, and adult enthusiasts, with on-site dining available.
