La Mer de Sable

La Mer de Sable is one of France's oldest and most beloved theme parks, founded in 1963 by French actor Jean Richard and located within the Ermenonville Forest in the Oise department of northern France. The park is built around a remarkable natural sand dune and is divided into three immersive themed worlds: the Gates of the Desert with its sweeping dunes, the Far West for cowboy and frontier adventures, and the Jungle for exotic exploration. Across these worlds, visitors will find around 30 attractions suitable for children and adults alike, delivering thrills and sensations in equal measure. Live shows on a large open-air stage feature equestrian stunts, acrobatics, and special effects, providing memorable entertainment for the whole family. La Mer de Sable is now operated by the Looping Group.
