Huskisson Carnival, operated by Joylands Amusements, is a beloved summertime carnival that has delighted visitors to the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales since 1973. Set at the Huskisson Playing Fields on Tomerong Street in the seaside village of Huskisson, the carnival brings over 20 amusement rides to the south coast each summer, from family favourites to high-thrill experiences such as the Power Surge and Body Rock. Sideshow games, showbags, food stalls, retro roller skating, face painting, roaming characters, local live music, and spectacular fireworks round out the festive atmosphere. Entry to the carnival grounds is free, with individual ride tickets or all-ride armbands available for purchase. It remains a cherished annual tradition for locals and holiday visitors alike.
