Hensting Alpacas Alpaca Walking

Hensting Alpacas Alpaca Walking is a unique outdoor farm experience located at Kiln Lane, Otterbourne, near Eastleigh in Hampshire. Visitors are invited to spend two hours walking one of the farm's beautiful alpacas through the Hampshire countryside along the banks of the River Itchen, passing through meadows and woodland trails. The herd of around 50 alpacas is accompanied by a llama named Primrose, a New Forest pony, and two sheep, creating a charming rural setting. Walks are guided and include health and safety briefings as well as educational information about alpacas, and guests have the opportunity to meet baby cria and feel the animals' soft fleece. Walks operate on weekends and selected weekdays, starting at 10am. In addition to alpaca walks, the farm also offers a llama keeper experience and alpacas for sale. Booking is required in advance.
