HAKU HAKU is an interactive factory and food experience venue in Fukuoka City dedicated to mentaiko, the spicy cod roe that is one of Fukuoka's most beloved culinary specialties. Visitors are invited to tour the working factory and learn about the history and craftsmanship behind this iconic product, as well as participate in hands-on workshops where they can create personalized mentaiko with custom spice levels. The on-site cafe serves signature dishes including mentaiko ochazuke and all-you-can-eat mentaiko sets, while exhibits showcase a life-sized Gion Yamasa festival float and recreated historical shop displays.
