Gyeongju World is one of South Korea's premier amusement parks, located in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and recognized as one of the top three theme parks in the country alongside Everland and Lotte World. Opened in 1985, the park has grown into a multi-zone destination offering a remarkable collection of roller coasters — the most of any theme park in Korea — including the Draken 90-degree dive coaster and the Phaethon inverted coaster. The park is organized into distinct areas including the X-Zone for thrill-seekers, a Wizard Garden children's area, and seasonal attractions such as the California Beach water park in summer and a large-scale snow park in winter. Visitors benefit from shorter queues compared to larger parks, allowing for more rides per visit. Dining, shops, and convenient facilities are available throughout. Gyeongju World is an excellent day trip from Busan or Daegu and a standout attraction in the historic Gyeongju region.
