Gators and Friends

Gators and Friends is the largest adventure park in Northwest Louisiana, situated at 11441 US Highway 80 in Greenwood and open since 2006. The park centers on an impressive collection of approximately 150 alligators and offers daily feeding shows and gator wrestling demonstrations that draw visitors of all ages. Brave guests can hold baby alligators and have their photo taken with these remarkable reptiles. Beyond the gator encounters, the park features an exotic petting zoo with goats, donkeys, llamas, and other animals, as well as pony rides and educational programming focused on wildlife conservation. Thrill-seekers can zipline over a swamp-filled gator habitat or race on a 1,600-foot go-kart track with speeds up to 35 mph. Operating Wednesday through Sunday, Gators and Friends delivers a unique blend of wildlife education and outdoor adventure near the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
