Field Station: Dinosaurs is an outdoor educational attraction located at 2999 N Rock Road in Derby, Kansas, just outside Wichita, offering a thrilling paleontology-themed experience across 10 acres of scenic trails. Visitors encounter over 40 moving, roaring, true-to-size animatronic dinosaurs while exploring the property on foot. Beyond the trail experience, the venue features live educational performances, an 18-hole dinosaur-themed miniature golf course, a raptor maze, a fossil dig site, and a playground with bounce attractions. Guests can earn credentials by participating in shows and activities to become certified Super Paleontologists. The facility operates seasonally from May through August, with day passes covering trail access, mini golf, and all included shows and activities.
