ErlebnisWald Trappenkamp is one of Schleswig-Holstein's most popular family attractions, a sprawling 120-hectare adventure forest park managed by Schleswig-Holstein State Forests and located directly on the A21 motorway near Trappenkamp and Daldorf. The park offers an outstanding range of nature-based activities including walkable wildlife enclosures where visitors can observe wild boars, red deer, and other forest animals up close, with daily wild boar feedings at 2 PM. Children delight in adventure playgrounds featuring pirate ships, western forts, and climbing towers, while the WaldWasserWelt water play area spanning 1,700 square metres allows dam-building and hands-on water exploration. A high-rope course, theme forests, and guided forest walks round out the educational and recreational offering, with ample free parking on-site.
