Erlebnispark Steinau an der Straße is a sprawling family amusement park set across more than 20 hectares near a forest in the charming Spessart scenery of Hesse, located along Germany's famous Fairy Tale Road. Opened in 1994, the park invites guests to follow in the footsteps of the Brothers Grimm through fairytale-themed attractions, gold panning, gemstone hunting in the Seven Dwarfs Mine, and an agricultural museum housed in a 200-year-old barn — the largest privately operated museum of its kind in Hesse. Rides and attractions include the 800-metre Spessart-Flitzer summer toboggan run, the Dolle Rolle roller slide, aerial tramway, electric horse track, and a comet swing. A petting zoo with ponies, goats, sheep, and donkeys adds further family appeal, and bookable barbecue huts are included in the admission price.
