Elbauenpark is a sprawling 93-hectare leisure and cultural park in Magdeburg, Germany, developed on reclaimed military land for the 1999 Federal Garden Show. The park's iconic Millennium Tower (Jahrtausendturm) rises 60 meters and houses 6,000 years of science exhibits, while a butterfly house shelters around 200 species alongside deer enclosures and a petting area. Visitors of all ages enjoy a summer sledding run, the ElbauenZip zipline reaching speeds of up to 55 km/h, climbing parks, disc golf, fitness trails, and expansive sculpted gardens featuring art installations. Multiple dining spots are scattered throughout the grounds. Located on Magdeburg's eastern Elbe bank and easily accessible by car, public transit, or bicycle, the park operates year-round with its full attraction lineup running from April through October.
