Drexel Fair

The Drexel Fair is a beloved annual community event held in Drexel, North Carolina, one of only two North Carolina agriculture fairs that offers free admission. Dating back to 1950 and situated at 700 S. Main Street in the Drexel Fairgrounds, this multi-day August celebration is a cornerstone of the local community. Fairgoers enjoy thrilling carnival rides, a wide variety of food and merchandise vendors, agricultural exhibits, and nightly live entertainment. A spectacular fireworks display caps off the excitement each year. The fair has expanded to eight days of festivities, and the community also hosts a spring carnival, giving residents and visitors two annual opportunities to celebrate together.
