Dinosaur Land (Dinosaurierland Rugen) is an engaging outdoor dinosaur theme park spread across 9.5 hectares in Glowe on the island of Rugen, Germany, open seasonally from April through October. A 1.5-kilometer experience trail, fully wheelchair-accessible and set among natural surroundings, guides visitors past more than 100 life-sized dinosaur models including T-Rex, Spinosaurus, and Triceratops, many of which move and emit sounds. Children delight in fossil searches, dinosaur skeleton excavation areas, adventure playgrounds, a small climbing forest, and a reconstructed Stone Age village. Additional paid activities include archery, amber searching, and dinosaur painting workshops. The park opened in 2008 and has become a popular family excursion destination on one of Germany's most visited Baltic Sea islands.
