DINOsardo Paleontological Park is a unique educational outdoor attraction located in San Quirico on the outskirts of Oristano in Sardinia, covering an area of 5,000 square metres. The park takes visitors on an engaging journey through the history of life on Earth, from ancient microbes to dinosaurs, through life-sized and touchable fossil reproductions inspired by real specimens held in museums worldwide. Standout exhibits include a life-sized Tethyshadros insularis named Antonio, a baby Argentinosaurus, and a Stegosaurus, among many others. All visits are guided by an expert geologist or palaeontologist, with commentary tailored to different age groups. An on-site excavation laboratory allows younger visitors to pick up a brush and simulate a fossil dig. The park is open on weekends and holidays, with weekday visits available by advance reservation.
