
Dahliengarten Legden is a stunning ornamental garden covering 4,500 square meters in the heart of Legden, Germany, nestled alongside a historic Romanesque church. The garden showcases more than 1,800 dahlias representing around 180 cultivated varieties from around the world, including wild Mexican highland forms, heritage cultivars, and prize-winning specimens. The peak flowering season runs from mid-July through late autumn, when the garden transforms into a vibrant tapestry of color and form. Open year-round and free to visit, the garden offers a serene space for relaxation and picnicking, and serves as a cherished cultural and horticultural landmark in the Westmünsterland region. It is maintained by the Dahliengarten Legden e.V. association.
