Coney Beach Pleasure Park was a much-loved seaside fairground situated on the seafront at Porthcawl, South Wales, with a history stretching back over 100 years to 1918 when it first opened its gates. The park was named in tribute to the famous New York amusement park and offered an exciting mix of white-knuckle and child-friendly rides, amusement arcades, food and beverage outlets, and award-winning ice cream vendors, all set beside a mile of golden sandy beach. A treasured part of the Porthcawl waterfront for generations, the park hosted families and thrill-seekers from across South Wales and beyond throughout its long and colourful history.
