Charmey Aventures is an exciting outdoor adventure park set in the scenic Gruyère district of Fribourg canton, Switzerland, located near the village of Charmey beside the Rapido Sky cable car station linking Charmey to Vounetz. The park features seven tree-climbing courses of varying difficulty, ranging in height from 2 to 25 meters, with participants secured by harnesses as they tackle climbing walls, sliding ropes, lianas, and aerial obstacles. A dedicated introductory course for children from age 4 ensures younger visitors can also join the adventure, while the main courses are designed for ages 7 and up. The spectacular Tyrolienne Valley, introduced in 2012, offers a thrilling rope-slide journey across 12 zip lines from Vounetz down to the park. Additional adventure options include treasure hunts, speedy scooter descents, and free-fall jumps, with refreshments available on-site for a complete alpine day out.
