The Cayman Turtle Centre is Grand Cayman's largest land-based tourist attraction, located in West Bay and operating since 1968. The wildlife facility offers guests the chance to swim and snorkel with sea turtles in a marine lagoon, hand-feed tropical birds in the Caribbean Aviary, and encounter nurse sharks and other predatory species in the Predator Reef. Nature trails showcase native flora and fauna, and additional exhibits include a butterfly house and a crocodile exhibition. Visitors can enjoy scheduled keeper talks, animal feeding demonstrations, and exclusive experiences such as SeaTrek helmet diving and private turtle releases. The centre is deeply committed to conservation education, running sea turtle rescue and release programs. On-site dining and gift shops add to the visitor experience, making it a comprehensive wildlife and nature destination on the Cayman Islands.
