Biwako Hakodateyama is a multi-season natural resort park situated on a 680-meter hill in Takashima, Shiga, overlooking the stunning expanse of Lake Biwa. The park is one of the largest natural resort destinations in the Kansai region, offering spectacular seasonal attractions including lily fields in summer, vibrant kochia foliage in autumn, and skiing and snowboarding in winter. Adventure activities include Shiga's longest zip line with views over Lake Biwa, an Alps Adventure obstacle course, off-road buggy rides, a rainbow slider, and trampolines. The iconic BIWAKO SWING giant swing and an installation of 882 wind chimes create memorable photo opportunities. A summit cafe serves seasonal parfaits, and the venue is accessible via shuttle bus from JR Omi-Imazu Station.
