Barbara Morse Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex is a comprehensive 43,000-square-foot recreational facility located at 9014 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove, California, adjacent to Laguna Community Park. Established in 2004 and named after the Sacramento County district's first Parks and Recreation Administrator, the complex features a full aquatic area with three pools: a 10-lane, 25-yard competition lap pool; a zero-depth entry recreation pool with a 146-foot water slide and water play features; and a children's splash zone for ages 8 and under. Beyond the water, the facility includes a full-size gymnasium, teen center, preschool, meeting rooms, and a world-class skate park. Open seven days a week, the complex serves as a vibrant community hub for aquatic fitness, recreation, and youth programming in the Elk Grove area.
