Aso Cuddly Dominion

Aso Cuddly Dominion is a large-scale wildlife and entertainment park set on a 300,000 square-meter property at the foot of the majestic Mount Aso in Aso-shi, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Originally established in 1973 as Aso Bear Ranch, the park is now home to approximately 100 species of animals and is the only attraction in Kyushu where visitors can touch and hold bear cubs, a specialty that draws families from across the country. Beyond its famous bear encounters, the park offers hands-on interactions with alpacas, capybaras, goats, penguins, and more, plus entertaining shows at the Miyazawa Theater and Cuddly Hall, including the popular Mini Butan Pig Race. Horseback riding and reptile encounters add further adventure, while helicopter sightseeing tours launch from the park for aerial views of the Aso volcanic crater.
