Whiti Farm Park is a family-friendly animal encounter and recreation park situated on eight acres of scenic land just 10 minutes south of Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula's State Highway 25, conveniently between Tairua and Whitianga. The park allows visitors to meet, hand-feed, and cuddle with over 40 species of friendly farmyard and exotic animals, birds, and reptiles, including deer, horses, rabbits, alpacas, turtles, and parrots. Beyond the animal encounters, children can bounce on a six-metre trampoline, roll in hay, climb tree huts, discover vintage farm machinery, drive a miniature train, and explore a real fire engine. Bags of animal feed are available at the entrance for a nominal charge, and a bush walk winds through scenic gardens on the property. A barbecue facility is available for picnics, and the park is open daily from 10am to 4pm year-round. Whiti Farm Park offers an engaging and authentic rural experience for families visiting the Coromandel.
